Oakley has created some innovative sunglasses that feature a Bluetooth headset for handsfree cell phone communication. The Oakley’s use super-lightweight O-linium frames and the Plutonite lenses block all UV light while providing maximum clarity. Basically, Oakley’s protect your eyes and are so light you don’t even realize they are on, but now they are even cooler with Bluetooth built on!
If my Treo 600 supported Bluetooth and I did not have a habit of sitting on my sunglasses, I’d be wearing a pair right now!

No more paying $1,$2 or even $3 for a ringtone. With Roxio’s Xingtone Ringtone Maker software, you can make your own ringtones from your own MP3/WAV/WMA or recorded audio files. You can choose how long the clip is, and what part of the song or sound effect you want. You then send the ringtone over to your phone by using a text message. Pretty slick. Of course, it would be nice if they included the USB, Bluetooth or some other method of copying the ringtone over to the phone, but for under $20, it’s not a bad deal.

Jabra has come up with the perfect solution for those users who hate headsets (Chief Gizmateer included) – a portable speakerphone. Best of all, it’s wireless courtesy of Bluetooth. The SP500 can be placed on a desk or clamped to your car’s visor, or suction mounted to your windshield. It also includes a pivoting microphone for optimal voice pick-up, digital volume wheel and a mute button. The SP500 is rated at 20 hours talk time and 480 hours standby. Not too shabby. This makes me want to go out and buy a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone!

A bit more product convergence – audio headphones meets cell phone headset meets Bluetooth wireless capability. The Pulsar 590A from Plantronics does all of this. The best feature has to be that you can listen to music and if a phone call comes in, the headset automatically cuts out the music and chimes to alert you that you have a call. The Pulsar comes with a telescoping microphone, and the right earpiece has call, answer, mute and volumen buttons. The unit also comes with a Bluetooth adapter which has a standard 3.5mm audio plug. The headphones are foldable, come with a travel case and provide 10 hours of listening time on a single charge.

Measuring 4.5 x 0.8 x 1.3 inches and weighing a mere 3 ounces, the Nokia 7280 has a unique style and that what sells this phone. Part of Nokia’s Fashion Collection, you answer and end calls with the active slide. Also, you reveal hidden camera by sliding open the mirror-finish case.
There are no traditional number keys, send key, etc… but another unique feature is the rotator which apparently takes a little bit to get use to but really is sharp not to have all the keys messing up the design not to mention the cool red display.
Oh yeah, this phone supports Bluetooth, has the ubiquitous phone book and Internet access available on just about every phone but does it with style!

With that said, we’ve featured a few phones with different features from kid cell phones to powerful convergent phones to high-speed data phones to the very slick designed phone.
