A few years ago, we featured the SmartStrip LCG3 from Bits Limited, a 10 outlet unit that detects whether or not you have something plugged is on or off and stops drawing power accordingly, thus reducing the ‘vampire load’.
Fast-forward to today. Bits Ltd sent us one of their latest products – the 10-outlet Charging Station (model LPG3E), which as the name suggests is geared to plugging in chargers. As we’re suckers for green, eco-conscious, power-saving gadgets, we had to accept.
I took this unit for a spin and found a lot to like.
There is some minor setup that involves calibrating the device based on the chargers that you have plugged in, but that took less than 5 minutes.

The Geeks received some Krypton Products a couple months ago then put the products to real world testing. This review concentrates on the Krypton iPhone Screen Armor.
In each Screen Armor box you receive two films, a microfiber cloth, a Krypton Sticky (to remove pesky air bubbles) and an Application Card to apply the screen armor to the screen. As you can see from the picture (taken by Gadget Girl Photos), Krypton Products have several screen armor versions for the iPhone Ultra-Clear, Anti-Glare, Mirror and 360 Privacy with different film versions. The film names speak for themselves. For example, the Anti-Glare screen removes the glare from direct light whereas the Ultra-Clear film is transparent.

Porsche is going to build a hybrid. How about that? Yup, the Porsche 918 Spyder, which to date was only a concept car, got the go-ahead from the board at Porsche. They already have over 1000 people on a buyer’s list.
This is a 500hp 3.4-liter V-8 car that gets 78 mpg, has a 198 mph top end and can go 0-60 in 3.2 secs. Not bad.
