Rumors are flowing that Apple’s iPhone will start competing for gamer’s thumbs in a head to head thumb wrestling match with Nintendo’s handheld DS console. While games have been available since the much hyped iPhone launch, a new report from the New York Post suggests Apple plans on becoming a major player in the “casual gamer” market.
A move to make the iPhone into a fully fledged gaming device would put the gadget against a legion of handheld games machines, including the Nintendo DS console and the Sony PSP.
